Trimen is a medium-sized electrical contracting company that operates out of southeast Calgary, with a robust and energized field staff that’s always ready to tackle your next project.
Whether it’s through a hard bid, design build, design assist or construction management model, Trimen has consistently proven over the years that we are the right choice for the job.
We are a “COR” certified contractor that upholds a high level of safety to protect our employees against lost time incidents in order to make sure they go home safe and sound each night.
Trimen has taken great strides to incorporate environmentally-friendly practices and policies into our daily operations and onto our job sites.
Things such as the use of solar photovoltaic systems, energy efficient lighting controls, low VOC products and the recycling of old ballasts and light bulbs are just some of the ways we can help to reduce our environmental footprint.
We recognize the importance of mitigating our environmental impact, which is the reason why we have implemented these policies.
Having worked on many LEEDS projects over the years, we have adapted and made the necessary changes so that we are well versed with these standards and the implications they have on a project.

Apprenticeships & Affiliations
Trimen Electric Ltd. is recognized as a “Champion of Apprenticeship” through its perpetual contribution to the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Scholarship Program.
In 2007, Trimen joined 22 other contributors to sponsor an annual apprenticeship scholarship, the “R. Tom Tilley Memorial Scholarship”. This scholarship, which was created in memory of one of Trimen’s founding partners, is awarded each year to a deserving electrical apprentice.
