This 330,000 square foot recreation centre will serve as a hub for the community of Seton and will be surrounded by a new high school, regional park and the future SE leg of the LRT. This facility is expected to be open in the spring of 2018 and will be run by the YMCA.
This comprehensive facility will house a full competition pool, leisure pool, water park, two ice rinks, three gymnasiums, running track, fitness centre, childcare facility, physio therapy clinic, a three hundred seat theatre, as well as a branch of the Calgary Public Library. We are pleased to have been selected as part of Bird Construction’s team to complete the construction of this challenging project.
